Should We Worship Jesus (Yeshua)?

The answer to this question depends largely on Yeshua’s identity. If Yeshua is regarded as Deity in the same sense as His father, then we must worship Yeshua. If the New Testament documents identify Yeshua with Yahweh, then we must worship Yeshua.

If he is merely a prophet of Elohim or the Messiah of Israel, the worship of Yeshua would not be appropriate. Given the Bible’s insistence that worship should be directed only at Elohim, any individual fearful of Elohim will need a satisfactory answer to this all-important question.

WHAT DOES YESHUA, THE MESSIAH OF ISRAEL, SAY ABOUT HIM?

Matetiyaho (Matt) 4:10 “Then Yeshua said to him, ‘Go, Satan, for it is written, ‘To the Lord your Elohim you shall worship, and you shall serve him alone.

Yohanan (John) 4:23-24 “But the hour is coming, and now it is, when true worshippers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth; for the Father also seeks to worship Him. Elohim is Spirit; and those who worship him, in spirit and in truth, must worship.”

In these verses Yeshua, the Messiah of Israel, points out that only YHWH, our Elohim, we are to serve and worship and that true worshippers worship the Father (YHWH) in spirit and truth and such elohim Himself seeks to worship Him.

Yeshua is not Elohim (God-The Creator of the Universe). For further verification see the following articles in our articles:

Yeshua is divine and is the Messiah of Israel, but is not Elohim

50 Bible Verses That Prove Yeshua (Jesus) Is Not Elohim (God) The Creator

Yeshua, the Angel of Elohim, the Messiah of Israel

Knowing that Yeshua is not Elohim, we start from the above If he is merely a Prophet or Messiah of Israel, the worship of Yeshua would not be appropriate in any case see Apo 4:10-11 above and as Elohim states in:

Shemot (Exo) 20:1-5 “And Elohim spoke all these words, saying, I am YHWH your Elohim, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. You will have no other gods before me. You will not make an image, nor any likeness of what is above in heaven, nor below on earth, nor in the waters below the earth. You will not bow to them, nor honor them; for I am YHWH your Elohim, strong, jealous, who visit the wickedness of the fathers upon the children up to the third and fourth generation of those who hate Me.”

And so does Yeshua in:

Revelation 22:8-9 “I Yohanan am the one who heard and saw these things. And after I had heard and seen them, I prostrated myself to worship at the feet of the angel (Yeshua) who showed me these things. But he said to me, Look, don’t do it; for I am your fellow servant, of your brethren the prophets, and of those who keep the words of this book. Worship Elohim.

And in Hebrews 1:4-6he made (Yeshua) so much superior to the angels, that he inherited more excellent name than they did. For to which of the angels did Elohim ever say: My Son is you, I have begotten you today, and again: I will be to him Father, and he will be to me son?
And again, when he introduces the Firstborn into the world, he says, “Worship him all the angels of Elohim.”

Tells angels to worship Yeshua, not us humans

It says in Psalm 2:11-12 WHOM TO WORSHIP and serve and WHOM TO HONOR” Serve YHWH with fear, and rejoice with trembling. Honor the Son (Yeshua), that he may not be angry, and you may perish on the way; For his anger suddenly ignites. Blessed are all who trust in him.”

WE MUST HONOR YESHUA

And finally Philippians 3:3For we are circumcision, those who in spirit serve Elohim and boast in Christ Yeshua, having no confidence in the flesh.”

WE MUST BOAST IN YESHUA, IN WHAT HE DID FOR US.

Brethren, let us serve and worship the Creator of the Universe: YHWH, our Elohim, and honor His beloved son Yeshua, the Messiah of Israel.

  1. The key is to:
1.) Worship the God of Y’israEl (He who wrestles with or contends with God, El!!!)
    EL ELYON!!! FATHER!
2.) Follow Yeshua (God is Salvation: Acts 4:12) and (Exodus 20:1-17, Matthew 22:37-40) SON OF MAN
3.) Serve the Holy Spirit, Ruach Ha’Kodesh!
    MOTHER!
